App Store release is in preparation. These guides describe the current ActONE26 app.
Getting into rehearsal
How do I open a script?
Choose a storage option when you first open the app. With Local storage or iCloud Drive, tap “Import PDF or Word scripts” and choose a PDF or DOCX file. Scanned PDFs without selectable text may need text recognition first. In SharePoint, sign in with your authorized work account and browse the script library.
How do I change storage?
Open Storage on the library screen and select Local storage, iCloud Drive, or SharePoint. Changing storage does not move or delete existing files. For iCloud, choose the same iCloud Drive folder and the same actor name or email on each device. Let iCloud finish syncing before refreshing rehearsal history.
Why is Start rehearsal unavailable?
Open a script and choose your character. In Computer partner mode, also select an available partner voice. If INFO narration is enabled, select a narrator voice different from the partner. Allow microphone and speech recognition when prompted.
How do I change voices or listening time?
Choose a partner voice and accent from the script screen. Open Rehearsal settings for INFO narration, speaking speed, delivery pauses, accuracy, and the listening turn limit. Settings opens as a full-screen scrollable view on iPhone. Opening settings pauses rehearsal.
How does improvisation work?
Lower Matching accuracy to tolerate more changed or skipped words. On a supported device with Apple Intelligence enabled, “Match meaning when improvising” can check the intention and key facts of a line after your pause. It may take a few seconds and can make mistakes. Previous and Next remain available.
Projection and recordings
How do I use AirPlay and automatic scrolling?
Connect a display with Screen Mirroring in Control Center, then open Project lines / AirPlay in ActONE26. Enable “Show lines on connected display.” On Mac, move the AO26 Projection window to that display. Adjust AirPlay / karaoke text size and turn on “Follow actor’s reading automatically.” Start rehearsal so speech recognition can follow the actor. Heavy improvisation can track less precisely.
On iPhone, rotating into landscape opens karaoke and starts a countdown when the required setup is ready. The phone stays awake while the script is open.
How do I record with a human partner?
Choose Human partner, select a different character for each actor, and enter the partner’s work email before recording. Keep both actors near the microphone and avoid overlapping speech. The full scene and separate feedback save in both actors’ folders in the chosen storage. Those folders inherit the storage location’s access permissions.
Where are my recordings and feedback?
Open Rehearsal history in the library. It shows the selected storage and actor profile. If a save did not complete, check Pending rehearsal saves. Recovery copies stay on the recording device; changing storage does not remove them.
How can I delete my data?
Cloud files can be managed in iCloud Drive or SharePoint using your access permissions. Removing the app does not remove those cloud files. The current app does not offer per-take deletion of device recovery copies.
On iPhone or iPad, deleting the app removes its device app-container data; offloading the app preserves that data. On Mac, removing the app can leave its app-container files behind. Contact support for help locating your local library and recovery data. Your cloud provider may retain backups or version history under its own policies.
Can any Microsoft account use SharePoint?
No. The current connection is limited to the configured Four Point Networking Actor Copilot SharePoint site. A work account must have permission to that site. You can use Local storage or iCloud Drive without Microsoft sign-in.
Report an issue
Email support@solman.us with your device model, system version, app version, and the steps that caused the problem. Include the exact error message if one appears.
Do not email passwords, confidential scripts, or recordings unless support asks for a suitable example and you have permission to share it. An original sample line is usually enough to begin.
